The functional renovation of the bathrooms, kitchen and living area of Oliveto’s farmhouse and the estate’s manor house, primarily presented a challenge that demanded the coalescence of different styles. The client in fact wanted to complement the rustic decor with internationally inspired furnishings, quite unlike traditional tuscan interiors. Among others the elegant anglo saxon inspired bathroom and the stylish kitchen, fitted with work surfaces composed of single slabs of statuary marble and french manufactured fires. The key to S29’s success in harmoniously combining these different styles was through the command of the element they had in common: a clean and sharp finish, which the studio accomplished with their customary regard for detail.
